Standard and License

How do Standard and License differ?

Standard is a subscription: SoftNursery hosts, updates, and supports. License is a one-time right for one named company to run the same product on infrastructure you control — not a monthly plan. Custom is not a third card; it is the quoted work when you need an API, multi-company, or scoped build on top of either path.

Do I get every app on Standard and License?

Yes. The product is one fee, not a fee per module. You enable the apps you need. Vertical packs (AutomobilOS, MaritimeOS) are still BoltERP apps on the same masters.

What is a paying ERP user?

Someone who logs into /admin to create, view, or edit documents — sales, stores, accounts. A DS on Field Force is an ERP (or field) seat. Leave, attendance, and payslips are ESS — scoped in the quote, not a full ERP login. Customers who only see a portal or receive an SMS are not paying users.

What does “non-exclusive” license mean?

You may use BoltERP for one legal entity. You may not stop SoftNursery from selling to another company in your city or industry. You do not receive exclusive territory, source code ownership, white-label, or the right to resell. Updates after go-live are optional AMC.

Is implementation in the subscription or the license?

No. The plan or license is the software. Going live is a separate project — masters, opening stock, training — and we quote that after we see the company.

Can we start on Standard and buy a license later?

Yes. Cloud and license are the same product. A later license is a commercial conversion — data export is yours either way. Timing is usually after a stable go-live, not on day one.

When do we need Custom?

When Standard or License as-shipped will not do: an external system must drive BoltERP, you run more than one company on one agreement, or a workflow needs scoped customisation. There is no list price. We quote the work.
